Our Gap year program offers you lifetime experience living with well selected local family and teaches near by semi community or private school in village. Volunteers will not only contribute in education but will experience and participate in many of the local festival and celebration. You can teach or do varieties of community work. In our 3-4 placements we normally organize teaching placement.
Progarmme begins with comprehensive orientation which includes health briefing by medical doctor, placement briefing by Basant who is running gap year since 2001. Nepali Language class by Nepali teacher from one of the local school who has experience of teaching Nepali to our volunteers for more than 5 years. Cultural trek lead by our experience for volunteers who will add additional input regarding local customs, food and tradition during the cultural trek.
Volunteers will do volunteers approx. for 60 days or less as per the duration of their programme before they enjoy their holiday part of the programme. We will also organize 8 days trip to Tibet during the holiday time of the school.
