Graduate in Business Management with multi cultural back ground of Nepali and Tibetan with more than 20 years experience in Travel/Trade for project planning, assessment, design and evaluation. Basant has traveled extensively in Nepal & Tibet, Sikkim; Bhutan and overseas is fluent in Nepalese, Tibetan, Hindi and English. Basant deals with his clients personally and is very friendly and helpful. Basant is also an expert on Tibet Tour with vast local knowledge due to his Tibetan back ground, he has studied and traveled more of the power places of Nepal and Tibet. Basanta Adventure offers authentic experience trips throughout the Tibetan plateau organised from its own subsidiary company based out of Lhasa since 1998. Basant is a country representative for Oyster Worldwide of UK, a well known responsible Travel and Gap year expert.

Siddik is one of the most positive and promising member of our Team. He holds MBA degree. Siddik loves sports and used to be basketball coach; before he joined Basanta Adventure he hardly missed weekly football game and great die-hard fan of Liverpool club. Siddik has experienced of leading several Tour, Trekking, Expeditions in remote area successfully for more than 7 years. He speaks fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi and travelled overseas. Siddik is in charge of Tour departments, he is a great role model for his team mate. Siddik enjoyed great reputation amongst our repeated guest and love seeing him.

Graduate in business management, Pemba inherited travel in his blood from his father who is former veteran father mountain leader leading famous personalities to the mountain. Pemba decided to join Basanta Adventure and in no time he took control of our core destination Tibet, Pemba is sharp, focused and extremely dedicated in is job. He has earned a great respect from his team mate from Nepal and Tibet in short period of time. His responsible for operation which require checking minutes details of services and quality control working closely work with Team in Tibet. He is meticulous in his work and love to watch movie in free time.

Guide License Number 623, Thakur came a long way working as humble porter now a complete trekking guide. Thakur is passionate; resourceful a well organized and has good sense of humor. Thakur is versatile and besides being a trek leader, he runs his own farm house and he is well train in building construction which keeps him busy during off season of tourist. Thakur was born in 1972; he is very popular amongst our guest and his colleague. Thakur has extremely good record of 99% of satisfied guest. Thakur 48, married with 3 children hails from Ramechap, Nepal speaks good Nepali, Magar, English and Hindi. Thakur obtained his guiding license in 2016 and have been consistently leading several trekking in most of the popular trekking destinations including remote districts of Nepal and some part of the Tibet (China), he has taken Guide training, First Aid Training, English Language training and mountain surviving skill training.

Guide license: Kunchok is our top most Chefs, he specialized in cooking various cuisine and look after Kitchen department during our camping trek. His food is very popular with guest and always plays huge role in the success of our camping trek. Beside Chef he is a very well organized leader. Recently Kunchok has obtained Guide license which will enable him to lead trekking in days to come. Kunchok`s hard working nature, organizational skill and great food have earned him good reputation amongst the guest. Kunchok is 40 years with 2 children. Kunchu is originally from Simikot, western part of Nepal, he speaks fluent Nepali, Humli, and Hindi. He is currently trying to improve his English language to fulfill his dream to become a guide. Kunchok is working as a chef for the last 15 years and recently obtain guide license in 2019, he has lead many trips as a chef in almost all region in Nepal and some popular region in Tibet. He has received training of chef cook, guide training and First Aid Medical training.

Guide License Number 7947, Sonam is from Everest Region and he is from famous Sherpa community. Sonam well known in Khumbu region and every guest houses and shops knows him, he himself own a lodge in Phakding which he run with his wife. Sonam has leaded many trekking and expeditions in Everest region and Annapurna. Sonam was born in 1983, married with 1 child. Sonam is from Everest region, completed his school education and speaks fluent Nepali, Sherpa, English and Hindi. Sonam has vast experience as a guide and being guiding since 2000 leading trekking in all the popular trekking destinations including remote districts of Nepal and Tibet ( China), he has taken several training in Mountain guiding, First Aid Training, Ice Climbing, Rock climbing etc. Sonam has successfully climbed several mountain such as Island peak (6200m), Mera peak (6464m), Labuche Peak (6160m), Chulu east (6200m), Chulu West(6400m), Thamserma (6200m). He has also traveled to United Kingdom, China and India.

Guide license no. 969 Ushnik is a skilled Artist who creates amazing traditional jewelries and metal handicraft out of silver and gold. Ushnik received master degree in Buddhism from Tribhuwan University before he decided to join Tourism. He has earned well respect and recognition within a short period of time due to his humbleness, passionate work and gentle approach. His own religious, popular ethic community back ground and specialized knowledge of Buddhism helped him to become one of the most knowledgeable Tour Guide in Nepal. Ushnik ws born in 1968 married and live in Kathmandu.
