Basanta Adventure was founded in early 1998 and is the culmination of many years of experience in operating treks and tours in the Himalayan regions.

BATE, received various management training through an organisation such as Planet Finance (France), CBI (Netherland).  After years of quality training and practice, Basanta Adventure Treks & Expedition (BATE) received a certification of ISO (9001:2008) in 2011 and recently upgraded to ISO 9001: 2015 for quality management. In 2017 Basanta Adventure received Travelife partner award for the commitment in sustainable tourism  Responsible Travel and Sustainable Tourism Policy)

Basanta Adventure believes in “doing business with a purpose” our core value.

Company has organized numbers of charity activities but being a part of the sponsorship program of educating more than 25 students most of them from kindergarten to graduation by have been the most rewarding and satisfying charity project, and what more you want when two of graduated sponsored student have joined the company.

Today, we have completed 20+ years and now offer a wide range of Leisure and Adventure Holidays Experiences in not only Tibet but also Nepal and Bhutan.
