Trip Summary:
This tour is especially made to highlight the major Buddhist heritage sites of Nepal. For those who are curious about Buddhism, this tour is made to provide them the opportunity to get to know the details about Buddhism and its culture. It takes you to the major Buddhist pilgrimages in the valley and to the birth place of Lord Buddha to Lumbini. In the valley you will visit Swyambhunath, Boudhanath listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO and Lumbini (birth place of Lord Buddha) out of the valley. During the trip, visitors can see the Buddhist devotees chanting religious hymns in their religious attire totally devoted to Buddhism. Lumbini is known as the birth place of Lord Buddha "The Light of Asia.". The nativity site is marked by a stone pillar erected by Indian Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred spot.
Tour begins with warm traditional welcome and quick safety briefing followed by comprehensive trip briefing next day, introduction to your guide and entertain last minutes questions.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu: (BB)
Arrival in Kathmandu where you will be met and transferred to Hotel just walking distance to any styles of good restaurants and shops. Our Representative will give you short briefing on hotel facilities and safety. Tonight we only have a short introduction to the area, just what you need to know before the main briefing tomorrow. Day 02: Sightseeing of Bouddha and Patan Durbar Square: (BB)
After breakfast, you will visit Bouddha also known as The Little Tibet is a 2500-year old Buddhist Stupa, - a holy place and center of Tibetan Buddhism. Then, you'll visit Patan City where you can see the historic Durbar Square, The Golden Gate, The Sky piercing temple of Taleju and the statue of King Yogendra Malla. You’ll have your lunch here in Patan. O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu (BB)
Day 03: Full day sightseeing of Namo Buddha: (BB)
After breakfast drive to Namobuddha which will take approx. 3hrs of drive. Namobuddha is an amazing story concerned with the Buddha which is commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a Stupa with the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. After Lunch, you’ll hike to the top and later drive back to Kathmandu. O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu (BB)
Day 04: Drive to Lumbini: (BB)
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Lumbini which overland transportation to Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion and non-violence. It is situated in Kapilvastu District of Lumbini Zone, the western Terai of Nepal, 250 Km. south west of Kathmandu. Arrive in Lumbini and check into hotel. Rest of the day visit Buddhist Pilgrimage sites of Lumbini. O/N at Hotel in Lumbini (BB)
Day 05: Full day sightseeing of Lumbini: (BB)
After breakfast, full day sightseeing in Lumbini. You’ll be visiting Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, The Crane Sanctuary, Dev daha, The Sacred Garden and Monasteries. O/N at Hotel in Lumbini (BB)
Day 06: Sightseeing of Kapilvastu: (BB)
Full day sightseeing in Kapilvastu. O/N at Hotel in Lumbini (BB)
Day 07: Fly back to Kathmandu: (BB)
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to airport for flying back to Kathmandu which is approx. 1 hour. Rest of the day is free. O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu (BB)
Day 08: Day at leisure: (BB)
This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure and either relax at hotel or explore Kathmandu city, shopping etc. Kathmandu offers varieties of Restaurants and fast-food for food lovers. O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu (BB)

Today either you’ll have your holiday extension for another tour or we will transfer you to airport for final departure flight.
